Robert Beverly

I am an Assistant Professor at the Naval Postgraduate School and a research affiliate at MIT where I completed my Ph.D in the Advanced Network Architecture group. I was formerly a researcher with BBN Technologies and an engineer at MCI/UUNET.

I am broadly interested in network architecture, systems engineering, Internet measurement, and complex systems. My recent research focuses on the practical application of machine learning and data mining to real-world Internet problems including routing, provisioning, service selection, and security.

I am looking for strong students interested in network research. See this list (NPS restricted) of my open research topics.
